🚀 Getting Started
Figo is a global dollar card built for people in Nigeria, Ghana, and across emerging markets who need reliable access to dollar-denominated spending power. You get a Visa-powered virtual card that works at over 70 million merchants worldwide. Fund your card via bank transfer to your virtual dollar account, or deposit USDC directly. Your funds are held in secure MPC vaults — we never hold or have access to your balance.
Creating a Figo account takes about 10 minutes: Visit app.spendfigo.com, enter your email and create a password, verify your phone number via SMS, complete identity verification (KYC), and once approved, fund your account and your virtual dollar card is ready to use.
You'll need: A valid government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID, or driver's license), a selfie for facial verification, and proof of address (utility bill, bank statement, or official letter dated within 3 months). If verification fails, check that documents aren't expired, images are clear, and names match.

💳 Cards
You get a virtual Visa card that you can use immediately for online purchases. Card details are available in your dashboard. There is a $2 one-time card issuance fee when you create your card. Physical cards are coming soon.

Your Figo card works anywhere Visa is accepted worldwide — over 70 million merchants. Use it for online shopping, subscriptions (Netflix, Spotify, YouTube Premium), software (Adobe, Canva), digital ads (Google Ads, Meta Ads), and education payments.
Go to Cards → select your card → Freeze Card. Your card will be blocked immediately. To unfreeze, follow the same steps and tap Unfreeze. Freezing doesn't cancel your card or affect your balance — it just blocks new transactions.
💵 Funding
Two ways: Bank Transfer (send USD to your unique virtual dollar account via wire or ACH) or USDC Deposit (send USDC to your wallet address). Both credit your balance in dollars, ready to spend. Figo doesn't charge fees for receiving funds.
A unique USD account number for receiving bank transfers. Share it with employers, clients, or anyone paying you in dollars. Funds are automatically credited to your Figo balance. Wire transfers typically settle within 1-2 business days.
We currently support USDC deposits. USDC is credited at a 1:1 rate with USD. Check the app for currently supported networks.
Figo does not charge fees for receiving bank transfers or USDC deposits. Your bank or the blockchain network may charge their own sending fees.
💰 Fees & Limits
Card issuance: $2 one-time fee. Monthly maintenance: Free. Funding: Free (no fees for bank transfers or USDC deposits). No hidden charges or inactivity fees.
Per transaction: $2,500 maximum. Daily limit: $5,000. Monthly limit: $25,000. No limits on funding — deposit as much as you need. Contact support@spendfigo.com if you need higher limits for business purposes.
Common reasons: Insufficient balance, card is frozen, limit exceeded ($2,500/transaction, $5,000/day, $25,000/month), merchant doesn't accept Visa, or incorrect card details. Check your balance and card status first.
🔒 Security
Multiple layers: Non-custodial MPC vaults (your funds aren't held by Figo), bank-level encryption, two-factor authentication (2FA), real-time transaction monitoring, and instant card freeze.
Immediately: 1) Freeze your card in the app, 2) Change your password, 3) Review recent transactions, 4) Contact support@spendfigo.com with details. We investigate all fraud reports promptly.
Go to Settings → Security → Two-Factor Authentication. Choose SMS or an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy). We strongly recommend enabling 2FA.
Figo is non-custodial. Your funds are stored in secure MPC (Multi-Party Computation) vaults — no single party, including Figo, can access your funds without your authorization. Your money is always yours.
